I like to hide

Sometimes I sing

like broken records

a step back 

When things

And I'd rather not be

In a race to be ahead

a place of comfort

And I don't pray

To ever be overconfident

Forgive me 

if I talk up myself


I always zone out

Whether I'm too laid

Back or too relaxed
